Holo-sprays are a new way to leave a mark on the battlefield. The Holo-spray appears as a disk on the ground that displays a holographic message above the ground and six of the legends have holo-sprays included in the Battle Pass, including one for the Season 5 legend Loba. Last month, developer Respawn Entertainment took a firm stance against cheating after the studio banned at least 16,000 players who were caught red-handed in Apex Legends. Now, it seems that Respawn is taking firmer action against cheaters, specifically on the PC, by hammering down permanent bans not only on the accounts of the perpetrators but also to the gaming hardware used for playing the game. In a report published by Daily eSports, multiple cheating forums revealed that several people have already had both their accounts and PCs banned from ever playing Apex Legends again....

A new job listing on Respawn Entertainment’s website seems to suggest that a mobile version of Apex Legends is currently in the works. While the job listing itself says the company is looking for a senior game designer to work on “unannounced mobile games,” it is under the Apex Legends section of the site, making it pretty obvious that the games in question are likely related to Apex Legends....

Apex Legends Mobile and cross-play would be made available in the near future as the team is already looking for a way to achieve the same. We have seen how Epic Games have implemented the cross-play feature with all platforms for the highly acclaimed Battle Royale game, Fortnite. Much like Bloodhound’s “Old Ways, New Dawn” quest back in season 10, players have to complete a series of tasks that has them following the story of Anita Williams, aka Bangalore. There are three chapters to her Apex Chronicles quest, with each subsequent chapter being unlocked after a set number of days. As of now, players can complete all three chapters without having to wait for her story to unfold; giving them an uninterrupted look into the character and the lore of Apex Legends....

When, or if, this happens remains to be seen, but many players want it to happen. Bringing Control back to Apex Legends permanently would mean the popular battle royale game wouldn’t just be a BR game anymore. It would then have BR, Arenas, and Control. For those unaware, Apex Legends’ Pathfinder has a grappling hook ability that allows him to cover long distances quickly.
