The name has popped up a time or two since, with a few wondering if the hacker was making their return at a point or two, but needless to say, there are a lot of myth-like elements to the game. Now, players are discussing a much more significant and hallowed name: BatteryDeliveryService.

Over on Reddit, one small post is discussing another player, presumably a Pathfinder main, with the name BatteryDeliveryService. All this Pathfinder does is find shield batteries and deliver them to other players. The OP, for example, says that BatteryDeliveryService grappled in, gave them a few batteries after a battle, and then immediately disconnected. OP and his squad learned BatterDeliveryService’s name from their deathbox. Others chimed in, claiming to have been visited by this myth themselves. Others said this reminded them of the stream-sniper streams that were dubbed Wingman Delivery Service.
OP admits this was a few seasons ago, and while this may not be the first mention of BatteryDeliveryService, it’s unknown if this player is still continuing their work. It brings the farmer meme that states “it ain’t much, but it’s honest work” to mind. Those that chimed in, believing to have been visited by BatteryDeliveryService, could be making this up, or it could have been a coincidence. It’s hard to say for sure. However, such a Pathfinder is a beautiful myth among the Apex Legends community.
A lot has happened in the Apex Legends community since the battle royale game’s surprise launch so long ago. Some of them have been positive, and some of them have been negative. Few things are as wholesome as the legend of BatteryDeliveryService, though. Whether it’s true or not, it’s something unique across the entire community.
