A certain thing that keeps the players of Apex Legends excited is a release of new playable characters, called legends, after several months. New legends come alongside new seasons, which mean new thematic skins, zones, weapons and other interesting features in Apex Legends. As gamers expect a new season to be released soon, therefore wondering who the next legend might be, a recently dropped trailer confirms it to be Mad Maggie, introduced a year back in Season 8 - Mayhem.

Mad Maggie is an old friend and new foe of an already-playable legend, Fuse, both native of the planet Salvo. She took over the War Games of Season 8 as an announcer and commentator, with an insane, yet amusing personality, most players enjoyed her presence before apparently being killed by the end of that event. In the recent trailer, it is evident she survived and continued her fight for the liberation against the Syndicate’s corruption of Salvo, which led to her execution and then transportation to the Apex Games, arriving in the upcoming Season 12 - Defiance.
With the current list of thrilling and exciting legends, Mad Maggie shall be a great addition with her eccentric and barbaric personality. Apex Legend players shall be able to explore Maggie’s abilities in detail once the seasonal trailer is released later this week. However, it is known that Olympus, one of the best maps of Apex Legends, shall be returning with certain changes, alongside a probable new game mode allowing a team match of nine legends with infinite respawns and loadouts to capture and control certain points on the map.
As fun as it was for Apex Legends players to discover hints and clues of the upcoming season, the new trailer provided far more clarification on they expect. For now, the players still have time left to obtain all exclusive rewards of the current Dark Depths event and earn further achievements of the battle pass, before Season 12 starts on February 8.
Mad Maggie is an exciting addition to the ranks of the current legends, with her fervent spirit and a rebellious arsenal of exciting seasonal thematic skins, exclusive rewards and gaming styles. Now all players have to do now is wait and share the excitement.
