That’s not all, though, as Respawn is finally introducing gifting in Apex Legends and adding another feature called stickers. The former has been a long time coming, while the latter is a simple cosmetic addition intended to add more flair to the Apex Games. Respawn described both of these as the first iteration of these features, meaning changes are certainly possible in future seasons. Game Rant recently attended a preview event for Apex Legends season 15 and also directly with developers Jeff Shaw, Eduardo Agostini, and David Duong. Stickers should not be ignored despite being such a small detail.

Player expression in Apex Legends revolves around which characters are mained, the skins associated with that character (or any for that matter), weapon skins, banners, and more. Stickers are a customization option similar to loading screens in this regard, as no one outside the player is ever going to see these. Essentially, stickers are something designed to personalize the experience, if slightly, and sees players place them on their healing items. These are available across all healing items, including syringes, medpacks, shield cells, shield batteries, and Phoenix Kits.
Stickers in Apex Legends
According to Duong, players will receive one sticker alongside the new season among the plethora of options available. These can be adorable little nods at the memes associated with the game, like Wattson and her infatuation with Nessie, or other cutesy elements. Stickers will be coming in special Apex Packs and will operate similarly to a collection event in which players can get packs that contain one sticker. Stickers will run for a limited time and rotate through the store in packs.
Meanwhile, gifting operates much like any Apex Legends player would expect. Players will be able to send other players items from the shop, but it should be noted that this is a first iteration. Gifting and Stickers is something Respawn is going to continue iterating upon, but because this is the first iteration, players will notice that not every Apex Legends cosmetic can be gifted. The intent, according to Duong, is to eventually make it available for everything, but that takes time. At the very least, players will now be able to gift some things from the shop.
Gifting in Apex Legends
Apex Legends is available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
