‘Live Die Live’ badge

This badge is a little bit of a hidden badge as it does not appear in players’ menu until it has been earned; however, getting ahold of the Live Die Live badge is pretty simple. Players just have to revive or respawn a player during a match. That badge is found in the “Badge 3” tab and can be equipped on any legend character.

‘Through the Heart’ skin and ‘Love of the Game’ banner frame

The Through the Heart epic skin for the Longbow and the legendary Love of the Game banner frame for Pathfinder are only available through the Apex Legends Store for Apex Coins, which requires actual money to purchase in packs. Both items cost 1,100 Apex Coins, and fans are frustrated with that pricing structure because Apex Coins can only be purchased in bundles of 1,000 ($10), 2,000 ($20), 4,000 ($40), 6,000 ($60), and 10,000 ($100).

Bundles do offer a handful of bonus Apex Coins with their purchase, but despite that, these Valentine’s Day items appear deliberately priced to require players to spend a minimum of $30 if they want both. Even purchasing a $20 bundle of 2,000 Apex Coins only nets players 2,150 coins, which is 50 coins shy of being able to buy both. So at the very least, players will have to buy a 1,000 coin bundle for $10 and the $20 bundle for 2,150.

There’s one caveat to this that could make the purchase of both items cheaper, but it is dependent on whether a player has already purchased the Apex Legends Starter Pack. That starter pack is $5 and contains 600 Apex Coins, so if players have not yet purchased the starter pack, they can get away with paying $25 for both items instead of $30.

These Valentine’s Day items are only available in Apex Legends from February 13th through February 19th.

Apex Legends is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
