Divided into half 2 halves by a massive river of lava, Fragment is visually stunning. One reason for its popularity is its central location on the World’s Edge map. In addition, it includes numerous multilevel buildings that are ideal for gathering looting. As a result, it has become a hot drop location for many squads looking to rack up kills and damage. Recently, one player decided to recreate this iconic location in another popular game.

In a post on Reddit, a user known as kurobekuro shared a picture of a building project they had been working on in Minecraft. However, this was no ordinary project, as the creator revealed that they had been working on reconstructing Fragment from the World’s Edge map in Apex Legends. While they noted that the build was a work in progress, it was still impressive in its current form. In the picture, towering buildings were seen in the distance, while a lava fissure that divided the city was visible. In addition, the iconic “streamer building,” infamously dubbed by various players for its sweaty skirmishes, was recreated on the far right side of the image.
Remarkably, kurobekuro revealed that this was just the beginning of the project. In fact, the Reddit user pointed out that they intended to recreate the entire World’s Edge map from Season 6 using Creative mode in Minecraft. They admitted that there was a long way to go in order to finish the monumental task, but they hoped to continue plugging away in the months ahead.
Since posting this incredible picture of Fragment on Reddit, numerous members of the Apex Legends community have taken notice. With over 8,500 upvotes in only a few days, many were impressed with the attention to detail in the cityscape. In addition, some fans commented that they were eager to see other POIs remade in this new art style.
It will be interesting to see what other creations are made by master builders in the days ahead. Besides this impressive recreation of Fragment from Apex Legends, fans are building New York City in Minecraft. If these creations are anything to go by, it seems whatever builds are shared with the community next are likely to impress as well.
Apex Legends is available on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, while a Mobile version is available in some regions.
